Medicare has different pieces. We’ll help you understand how they can fit together for you.
Give the budget two jobs.
Your budget needs room for the monthly premium and for care when you use it. Write down what you can pay regularly, then consider how you would manage a larger medical bill. Compare the deductible and other cost sharing alongside the premium.
Use a realistic income estimate.
Marketplace applications for self-employed people use an estimate of net self-employment income for the coverage year, along with other household information. Update the marketplace when your circumstances change. The marketplace determines eligibility for savings; an estimate is not a promise of assistance.

Check the plan against your week.
Think about where you live and work, the doctors you want to see, and prescriptions you regularly fill. If your work takes you across state lines, ask how the specific plan handles care away from home. Save the plan’s benefit summary so you can revisit the details.
Make a short comparison sheet.
For each option, note the premium, deductible, covered in-network out-of-pocket limit, network, drug coverage, and start date. Mark any unanswered question instead of guessing. Joshua can help you work through the list in a phone or virtual conversation.
